Master Jeweller - Joachim van Oostrum

OUR MASTER JEWELLER JOACHIM VAN OOSTRUM
Joachim takes great pleasure in creating jewellery
which has special meaning to people.

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY...

Following five years of training in Amsterdam, Joachim van Oostrum qualified as a Goldsmith at the age of 21. In his final year of study he entered the Netherlands Goldsmith Competition where he was awarded third prize. Once qualified he worked for top jewellery establishments in the Netherlands. After ten years experience, which included working on many special and unique pieces he decided it was time to venture abroad and left Amsterdam for New Zealand. Highlights of his jewellery career in New Zealand include winning the New Zealand Jewellery Showcase competition and creating unique pieces for some high profile clients including British royalty. Joachim loves connecting with people and enjoys creating something special which will be treasured for a lifetime. Whether it be an engagement ring, wedding ring, or recreating a new piece using sentimental heirloom jewellery.
His passion for creating unique jewellery from design to completion means he works on everything from the initial sketches with clients, through to melting the gold, setting the diamonds and the final polishing. A talented artisan who makes everyone who walks through the door feel welcome, puts his heart, soul and years of experience into every piece and values his contribution in providing people with meaningful fine jewellery which will be treasured for generations.

Welcome to LOVE IN A JEWEL

Dear Customers,

For many years now we have kept our prices the same in spite of the price of gold going up significantly during this time.

However, due to the continued increase in the price of gold, it has now come to the point where we have to increase our prices.

We would like to let you know that we are planning to implement the new pricing on the 16th July 2025.

Our current pricing will remain in place until then.

Thank you for your understanding,
Kindest regards,
Joachim and Tracy
