One very special order came from a very special Papa.
He wanted to put handwritten notes from him inside specially crafted charm bracelets holding precious stones from his late wife’s jewellery...and give them to his Granddaughters for their 21st birthdays.
When he was younger he spent a lot of time crafting the technique of doing calligraphy, in his late 80's he still had beautiful artistic penmanship. He wrote his heart-felt notes with a steady hand and we carefully sealed his notes inside the charm bracelets.
When the jewellery was ready, the family organised a special family lunch, Papa arrived in the same suit he had worn to the hospital the day his first granddaughter was born in October 2000.
At the family lunch he presented the girls with their LOVE IN A JEWEL's holding his enduring notes to them.
It was an honour to make these priceless gifts for him to give to his granddaughters who cherish the special memories they created with him.
Papa died aged 99 in December 2022
